MISSION STATEMENT
RATEL Initiative gives its members access to high risk areas which are inaccessible or too dangerous for solo pilots to make a profitable living, without keeping its members to a schedule of tasks or daily obligations, but only requiring them so assist fellow members should they call for aid.

OVERVIEW
RATEL Initiative only requires PvP from its members when another member calls for aid due to unprovoked aggression towards him/her or when the corporation assets are threatened.
Taxes generated by members will be used to maintain current corporation assets and maintaining the security of its members, should there be a surplus of resources it will be allocated to expanding into new systems should the members wish to do so.
Long term goal of the RATEL Initiative is to expand its member count and the wealth of its members to the point where it is strong enough to claim sovereignty of 0.0 spaces and hold it secure. Gods willing in the future pirates will fear RATEL as the CareBears fears them.

STANDING ORDERS
RATEL Initiative is not a pirate corporation and considers PVP as a defensive tactic with the exception to Bounty Hunting activities or engaging in activities under wardec. Any violation of the Rules of engagement can result in the expulsion as it places the corporation and all of its members in jeopardy of a wardec which will reduce the rate at which members can accumulate wealth and counterproductive to the corporation goals.
Report any aggression towards RATEL members or non-RATEL members. Should members decide to assist non-members to promote corporation standings or relations, they should do so within the rules of engagement.
Other than showing respect and courtesy to fellow members, have fun and fly safe.

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
Do not fire till fired upon. The only exception to this rule is for bounty hunting or when in a state of waredec or when agro is received. If it is red, KILL IT!
No harassment of combat or non-combat ships without provocation. Provocation includes bumping or ignoring direct command or rules of current system under RATEL control granted to non-members, theft, blinding glare of armor plates, (salvaging of loot) and excessive verbal abuse from non-members.
There are no restrictions in the manner combat is conducted to achieve victory and members are encouraged to use all means necessary to achieve this.
